WHERE: Colorado Bend State Park, River Group Camp
COST: Suggested payment is $20 per person, but we are offering three options ($10, $20, and $25) to allow families to pay what they can. If you intend to bring your own food, the cost is $10 per family. Sign up using the link below. The park will additionally charge a $6 entry fee per day for all attendees 13 and older (unless you have a park pass). That will be paid directly to the park when you arrive.
ABOUT: Two hours northwest of Austin, Colorado Bend offers 35 miles of hike and bike trails, and (hopefully) a 70-foot spring-fed waterfall. This is our first visit to the site, and we’re very excited to check it out!
FACILITIES: We will be at the River Group Camp Area. Water is available at the campsite but no electricity, so please plan accordingly. Bathrooms are composting (chemical) toilets. Parking is within 50 yards of the site.
